The Mkomazi Rhino Sanctuary Visit for 3 Days is geared toward the world-renowned rhino sanctuary, which serves as a vital haven for two critically endangered species: the charismatic black rhino and the sociable African wild dog, both of which were successfully reintroduced in the 1990s. Nomadic by nature, wild dogs might be seen almost anywhere in the park; however, black rhinos are restricted to a fenced sanctuary, ensuring their safekeeping for the enjoyment and prosperity of future generations.

Day 1: Arusha to Mkomazi National Park

Distance: 252 kilometers (5-6 hours).

Meet on arrival at the airport and drive to Mkomazi National Park for a half-day game drive with dinner and overnight at Mkomazi Cottages.

Day 2: Mkomazi Full Day Experience

Early in the morning, after breakfast, the tour departs for a full day experience in Mkomazi National Park. You will be able to observe and enjoy endangered species such as the black rhino and wild dog, as well as various bird species.

• Accommodations: Mkomazi Cottages

Day 3: Mkomazi National Park to Arusha

Distance: 252km / 5- 6 hrs.

On this last day, we will wake up for an early morning game drive to enjoy Mkomazi before the sun is out and drive back to the campsite for breakfast and preparations before departing for Arusha with a game drive along the way.

A three-day visit to the Mkomazi Rhino Sanctuary includes the following:

• Guarantee price/guarantee Safari on confirmation
