5 Days Mid-Range Safari to Arusha National Park, Lake Manyara, Tarangire and Ngorongoro Crater.
Meet on arrival and transfer to Tulia Boutique for dinner and overnight BB. (45 km, 50 minutes if it is from the Airport)
After breakfast you will be picked up from Tulia Boutique and enroute to Arusha National Park to begin your African experience of 5 days Safari to Arusha National Park, Tarangire, Lake Manyara and Ngorongoro Crater. The park has an incredible variety of fauna and flora, which cannot fail to impress. Hollywood also chose this region to film the movie “Hatari” in which Hardy Kruger starred alongside the legendary John Wayne. Your day trip will include a visit to the Ngurdo Crater. Buffaloes, waterbucks, giraffes, warthogs, zebras and baboons can be seen all year round as well as many different bird species. At the Momella Gate, an armed ranger will be waiting for you to accompany you on your walking safari that will give you the chance to experience the wildlife up-close. Only a few other national parks in Tanzania give you such an opportunity and it is something that should not be missed. Lunch will be taken at a picnic place and in the afternoon, you will continue your tour in the safari vehicle through the Arusha National Park. After plenty of time allocated for you to observe the wildlife, we will take you back to Tulia Boutique.
After breakfast the tour departs. First stop is Arusha Town for any last minute purchases before we head off on safari. Afterwards we head towards the Tarangire National Park for a game drive with picnic lunch at the park. Tarangire is well known for its huge elephant population and baobab trees. It forms the center of an annual migratory cycle that includes up to 3000 elephants, 25,000 wildebeest and 30,000 zebras. Dinner and overnight at Bougainvillea Safari Lodge
After breakfast the tour departs from Bougainvillea Safari Lodge to Lake Manyara National Park. Lake Manyara National Park offers breathtaking views and a large variety of habitats. Acacia woodlands, water forests, baobab strewn cliffs, algae-streaked hot springs, swamps and the lake itself. And thanks to this the small Park is able to support a large number of animal species and incredible bird life. Manyara has the largest concentration of baboons than anywhere in the world and the lions here are also renowned for their tree climbing. Drive back to Bougainvillea Safari Lodge for dinner and overnight .
After an early breakfast, you will descend over 600 meters into the crater to view wildlife. Supported by a year round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro conservation Area supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo and giant African elephants. Another big draw card to this picturesque national park, it’s dense population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the ever-elusive leopard, which sometimes requires a trained eye to spot. We will visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the main features of the crater. A large number of flamingos, hippos and other water birds can usually be seen here. Late afternoon transfer to Tulia Boutique for dinner and Overnight as the end of 5 days Safari to Arusha National Park, Tarangire, Lake Manyara and Ngorongoro Crater.
