Serengeti Safari from Mwanza

Our 3 days Serengeti Safari from Mwanza is an amazing experience you should not miss. This safari tour has been designed to offer you a short but intense Tanzanian Northern Circuit safari experience, for a shorter and time (3 days).

Sample Plan for 3 Days Serengeti Safari from Mwanza looks like: –

Day 01: Mwanza to Serengeti National Park

Non – game viewing time: 2– 3 hrs

After morning breakfast, our driver-guide will pick you at the hotel and drive on a tarmac road from Mwanza to Serengeti via Ndabaka gate. You will explore the Western corridor zone, observing masses of residents in their natural habitats. Serengeti best-known wildlife sanctuary in the world. It is the home of millions of large mammals, including what is so called the Big 5: elephant, lion, buffalo, leopard and the rarely seen black rhinoceros. Over 500 species of birds have been recorded in the area, including eagles, bustards, owls, cranes, herons, vultures, and secretary birds. It is here where the world’s great migration is observed. Some of Africa’s biggest crocodile lie in wait in Serengeti rivers. Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Kati -Kati Tented Camp.

  • Accommodation:  Serengeti Kati -Kati Tented Camp

Day 02: Full Day in Serengeti National Park

Following breakfast, you will spend the whole day on a game drive in the Serengeti National Park and have lunch at a picnic spot en-route. Depending upon the time of year, you might even have the chance to witness the great migration with hundred thousands of wildebeests, zebras and Thompson gazelles. During the small rainy season in October and November, you will typically see these herds moving from the Kenyan Maasai Mara through the northwest of the Serengeti to the plains in the south. After the great rainy season in April, May and June, the herds slowly travel back through the western and north-western part of the Serengeti.

With fluctuations in rainfall, this timetable can of course change, resulting in the animals migrating during different times and routes. Your guide will try his outmost to find the animals and will make sure that you can see them from the best spot in the national park. Naturally, the migration also attracts predators and with luck you might see a kill in action. You will spend another night at Serengeti Kati -Kati Tented Camp.
