Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, transfer to Arusha. Spend the night in Arusha to rest and prepare for the upcoming journey.
Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Begin the day with a 2-3 hour drive to Tarangire National Park. Enjoy a game drive in the park, renowned for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. Spend the night at a lodge or campsite within or near the park.
Day 3: Tarangire to Lake Manyara National Park
Travel approximately two hours to Lake Manyara National Park. Explore the park’s diverse ecosystem, famous for tree-climbing lions and vibrant flamingos. Overnight at a lodge or campsite in or near the park.
Day 4: Lake Manyara to Serengeti National Park (Central Serengeti)
Embark on a 5-6 hour drive to the central Serengeti. Enjoy an afternoon game drive in this iconic region. Stay overnight at a lodge or campsite in the central Serengeti.
Day 5-6: Serengeti National Park (Central to Northern Serengeti)
Spend these days traversing the Serengeti, heading toward the northern area. Witness the great migration, dramatic river crossings, and abundant wildlife. Rest each night at lodges or campsites in the northern Serengeti.
Day 7: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
Drive 4-5 hours to the Ngorongoro Crater. Descend into the crater for a memorable game drive, spotting the Big Five and other remarkable wildlife. Stay overnight at a lodge or campsite on the crater rim.
Day 8: Ngorongoro Crater to Lake Eyasi
Travel 2-3 hours to Lake Eyasi. Visit the Hadzabe tribe, one of Africa’s last hunter-gatherer communities, and learn about their unique culture. Spend the night at a lodge or campsite near Lake Eyasi.
Day 9: Lake Eyasi to Lake Natron
Embark on a 4-5 hour journey to Lake Natron, a haven for flamingos and home to the active volcano Ol Doinyo Lengai. Explore the area and stay overnight at a lodge or campsite near Lake Natron.
Day 10: Lake Natron to Arusha
Return to Arusha with a 5-6 hour drive. Depending on your flight schedule, either stay overnight in Arusha or proceed to the airport for your departure.
