With the help of this itinerary, you will have 15 days to travel around Tanzania, taking in everything the country has to offer, from the stunning wilderness of the Serengeti, Tarangire, and Ngorongoro Crater to the undiscovered beaches of Zanzibar. From the African savannah to the Indian Ocean, you will encounter life.

Day 01: Arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport

Distance: 45km /50Mnts

A representative from Joagro Safaris Tanzania will meet you at the airport and drive you to the hotel (African Tulip Hotel) in the heart of Arusha City, where you will prepare for your next day safari experience in Tanzania. This day will be filled with safari briefings on the overall safari plan, accommodations, and confirmation of the exact time you will be picked up to begin the next day.

Meet on arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport or Arusha Airport. Transfer to African Tulip Hotel for dinner and overnight BB. (45 km, 50 minutes)

Day 02: Arusha-Tarangire National Park

After breakfast the tour departs. First stop is Arusha Town for any last minute purchases before we head off on safari. Afterwards we head towards the Tarangire National Park for a game drive with picnic lunch at the park. Tarangire is well known for its huge elephant population and baobab trees. It forms the center of an annual migratory cycle that includes up to 3000 elephants, 25,000 wildebeest and 30,000 zebras. Dinner and overnight at Marera Valley

 Day 03: Ngorongoro Crater-Serengeti National Park

After an early breakfast, you will descend over 600 meters into the crater to view wildlife. Supported by a year round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro conservation Area supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo and giant African elephants. Another big draw card to this picturesque national park, it’s dense population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the ever-elusive leopard, which sometimes requires a trained eye to spot. We will visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the main features of the crater. A large number of flamingos, hippos and other water birds can usually be seen here. Late afternoon transfer to Serengeti for dinner and overnight at Serengeti Heritage Lodge

Day 04: Serengeti National park full day

You wake up very early in the morning to catch up with the sunrise in the beautiful Serengeti ready to start a day chasing animals to late evening. Dinner and overnight will be at Serengeti Heritage Camp.

 Day 05: Full day Serengeti game drive.

You wake up very early in the morning to catch up with the sunrise in the beautiful Serengeti ready to start a day chasing animals to late evening. Dinner and overnight will be at Serengeti Heritage Lodge

Day 06: Full day Serengeti Game drive

This will be a full day relaxation in a hotel with an evening two to three-hour game drive and back to the camp for dinner and overnight.

 Day 07: Serengeti half day game drive- Karatu

Distance: 200km

Time: 2 – 3 hrs

After breakfast at Serengeti Heritage, depart to Karatu Town via Serengeti National Park and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The Serengeti National Park – with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. Then heard to the famous Safari hub next after Arusha. Arrive in time after lunch and enjoy an evening chill at Bougainvillea Safari Lodge.

Day 08: Karatu to Arusha Airport- Zanzibar

Drive from Karatu to Arusha Airport ready for an afternoon flight to Zanzibar.

• You will see; House of Wonders, Freddie Mercury House, Former Slave Market, Sultan’s Palace.
