3-Day Serengeti Fly-in Safari

This 4-day fly-in safari to the Serengeti and Ngorongoro is designed for people with limited time, older people who don’t want to drive long hours to the Serengeti from Arusha or Kilimanjaro, and those who want to experience the Serengeti from the sky. On this tour, three days will be spent in the Central Serengeti before driving to Arusha.

Day 00: Arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport

Distance: 45km /50Mnts

Joagro Safaris Tanzania representative will meet you at the airport and drive to the hotel in the heart of Arusha City, ready for the next day’s safari experience in Tanzania. On this day, you will be packed with safari briefs on the general safari plan, accommodations, and confirmation of the exact time you will be picked up to start the next day.

  •  ACCOMMODATION: Tulia Boutique/ Charity Hotel or Forest Hill
Day 01: Fly Arusha-Serengeti National Park

On this day, you will be picked up from your hotel depending on your location, though we normally do have three destinations, which are Arusha, Dar es Salaam, or Zanzibar, and fly to Seronera in central Serengeti for a full-day game drive until late evening. The central park area, known as the Seronera area, is one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife that is well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species.

  • MEALS: Breakfast | Lunch | Dinner
  • ACCOMMODATION: Serengeti Serena Lodge

Day 02: Serengeti National park full day

This will be a full day in the beautiful Serengeti doing game drives, with a break at noon for lunch and continuing with game drives until late evening. Serengeti Serena Lodge for dinner and overnight.

  • MEALS: Breakfast | Lunch |Dinner
  • ACCOMMODATION: Serengeti Serena Lodge

Day 03: Serengeti half day game drive Serengeti-Arusha

You wake up very early in the morning to catch up with the sunrise in the beautiful Serengeti, ready to start a day chasing animals until late noon. You will visit the world-famous archaeological site of Olduvai Gorge, known as the Cradle of Mankind. The earliest remains of homo sapiens were discovered here by Mary Leaky, and anyone with an interest in mankind’s ancestors will be fascinated by this extraordinary place. Explore the quaint little museum and marvel at the rugged landscape. This paleoanthropological site in the eastern Serengeti Plain is a steep-sided ravine composed of two branches that have a combined length of about 48 km and are 90 meters deep. Deposits exposed on the gorge cover’s sides have yielded a treasure trove of fossil remains.
