A 5-day safari in Tanzania offers a chance to witness the Big Five and other animals, visiting Tarangire National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, and Lake Manyara, with a professional guide. This safari package, which is designed to be done as a full-board adventure, does include binoculars in the private jeep, power outlets to boost and charge your phones, and cameras.

Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport and transit to Arusha

The Joagro Safaris Tanzania representative will meet you at Kilimanjaro International Airport and drive you to the hotel in the heart of Arusha. The rest of the day is jampacked with safari briefings, accommodation arrangements, and detail on the pickup on the following day so you can prepare for the next day’s adventures in Tanzania.

Day 2: Arusha- Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast at your Manyara hotel, you drive through the park until late in the evening before heading to your hotel. Lake Manyara National Park offers breathtaking views and a large variety of habitats, including acacia woodlands, water forests, baobab-strewn cliffs, algae-streaked hot springs, swamps, and the lake itself. This park supports a large number of animal species and incredible bird life. Manyara has the largest concentration of baboons compared to anywhere in the world, and the lions here are also renowned for their tree climbing.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast at the lodge, you will drive to Ngorongoro Crater. The crater is more than 600m deep. Ngorongoro Conservation Area hosts many animals, including herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and large African elephants. Another huge draw card to this picturesque country-wide park is its dense population of predators encompassing lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the ever-elusive leopard, which requires a skilled eye to spot. Furthermore, we can go to Lake Magadi, a massive shallow alkaline lake at the southwestern corner, which is one of the crater’s major attractions. Many flamingos, hippos, and different water birds are seen here.

Day 4: Tarangire National Park

After breakfast in your hotel, you will depart for Tarangire National Park. From here, we head off to Tarangire National Park and Ngorongoro Crater.
Tarangire National Park is known for its enormous elephant population and baobab trees. The park is part of the annual migration of as many as 3 000 elephants, 25 000 wildebeests, and 30 000 zebras.

Day 5: Airport Drop off

After breakfast, you will drive to the airport for your departure. Depending on your schedule, the flight could be in the morning, afternoon, or evening.
