Overview
This 5-day safari is tailored for a visit to Manyara National Park, Tarangire National Park and Maasai Village visit scheduled to take place at Monduli Juu. This plan is tailored mainly for those who are looking to combine Tanzanian wilderness experiences with the Cultural Maasai visit at Monduli Juu.
Day by Day
The Joagro Safaris Tanzania representative will meet you at Kilimanjaro International Airport and drive you to the hotel in the heart of Arusha. The rest of the day is jampacked with safari briefings, accommodation arrangements, and detail on the pickup on the following day so you can prepare for the next day’s adventures in Tanzania.
After breakfast at your hotel in Arusha, depart to Lake Manyara National Park, you drive through the park until late in the evening. Lake Manyara National Park offers breathtaking views and a large variety of habitats, including acacia woodlands, water forests, baobab-strewn cliffs, algae-streaked hot springs, swamps, and the lake itself. This park supports a large number of animal species and incredible bird life. Manyara has the largest concentration of baboons compared to anywhere in the world, and the lions here are also renowned for their tree climbing.
After breakfast at your lodge at Karatu, the safari crew departs for Tarangire National Park. The park is home to hundreds of giant African Boabab trees in Acacia woodland. It consists of larger elephant herds. Lunch will be organized at the picnic site inside the park, with more hours of game driving later on. It is in the middle of an annual migratory cycle that consists of as many as 3000 elephants, 25,000 wildebeest, and 30,000 zebras.
This day trip from Arusha will take you to Monduli Juu, which is part of Tanzania’s Arusha Region, where you can learn about the Maasai culture.
At 8:00 am, we will pick you up from your Arusha hotel and drive you northwest to Monduli Juu. Once we arrive, it won’t take us very long to begin walking, gently down gullies from the hills to the plains. The opportunity to interact with Maasai people, learn about their culture and way of life, and become familiar with the area’s natural beauties will all be provided.
After breakfast, you will drive to the airport for your departure. Depending on your schedule, the flight could be in the morning, afternoon, or evening.
Today you will bid farewell to the beautiful country of Tanzania, carrying wonderful memories, breathtaking photographs, stories, and visual landscape images.
