Couple Traveller

We did the private 6-day Kilimanjaro trip (Machame Route) with Joagro.

The guides, porters, chef, and waiter were absolutely fantastic. I knew we would be fed, but didn’t expect how well we would be fed!! Pancakes for breakfast, chips for lunch, curries for dinner. Popcorn snacks.

The Waiter (Bariki) was excellent, incredible customer service. Made an extra effort to get to know us and teach us Swahili.

The guides (Emmanual and Amy) were also fantastic. They did everything they could to get us to the top and safety was paramount. On the 4th day I started to feel slightly unwell. They made sure I ate and got me through it. On summit day, remarkably felt fit and well again! Was a great experience reaching the top.

On the way back down from the porters were on their way up offering us orange juice. It was a nice touch, and they all created a great atmosphere. Lots of celebration and laughter.

Thank you to Jonas for making this trip happen and exceeding our expectations! I’d highly recommend this company, incredibly organised. You just need to turn up and the rest is sorted.
