This 8-day Amazing Safari and Culture: Get to Know Tanzania is designed to give a taste of Tanzania to people looking to have the best from wildlife, culture, and landscapes. The package consists of a walking safari in Arusha National Park, visits to Materuni Waterfalls, Kikuletwa Hotsprings, Tarangire National Park, the Hadzabe Bushmen, Ngorongoro Crater, and the Maasai village.
Day 1: Arrival in Tanzania
A Joagro Safaris Tanzania representative will meet you at the airport and drive to the hotel in the heart of Arusha City, ready for the next day’s safari experience in Tanzania. On this day, you will be packed with safari briefs on the general safari plan, accommodations, and confirmation of the exact time you will be picked up to start the next day.

Day 2: Walking Safari in Arusha National Park
This Arusha National Park day trip tour focuses on walking and game drives in the park. Arusha National Park is the closest national park to Arusha town, northern Tanzania’s safari capital. Arusha National Park is located at the footstep of Mount Meru (Tanzania’s second-highest peak at 4,566 m), which makes it a beautiful national park. Day trips to Arusha National Park are usually done with a combination of 1 to 2 hours of walking in the park to get closer to animals for an ideal experience.

Day 3: Kikuletwa Hotspring and Materuni Waterfalls
Kikuletwa Hotspring is the hidden oasis located between Moshi and Arusha which makes it a perfect gateway for a short-time traveler. It is also known as Maji Moto some 127 kilometers from Arusha town.
After breakfast at 8:15 am, the tour will start at Kikuletwa Hotspring which is sourced from Mount Kilimanjaro. The water temperature in the spring is warm and gives a Kilimanjaro Mountain sight from the distance. You can also get the opportunity to swim in the spring and visit the materuni waterfalls afterwards. Drive back to Arusha Town for a night after a full day of relaxation in the spring.

Day 4: Tarangire National Park
On this day, you will be picked up by a driver-guide soon after your breakfast at 8:10 am with a short tour briefing and en route to the beautiful Tarangire National Park. The park runs along the line of the Tarangire River, which fascinates wild animals mainly in the dry season. The park is home to hundreds of giant African baobab trees in acacia woodland. It consists of larger elephant herds. Lunch will be organized at the picnic site inside the park, with more hours of game driving to follow.

Day 5: Hadzabe Bushmen Visit
Wake up at around 7:00 am for breakfast ready to enroute to the Hadzabe community. The Hadza or Hadzabe, are an indigenous ethnic group in north-central Tanzania, living around Lake Eyasi in the Central Rift Valley and the neighbouring Serengeti Plateau. There are, as of 2015, between 1,200 and 1,300 Hadza people living around Lake Eyasi in northern Tanzania. They are distinguished by being the only population in East Africa that continues to rely extensively on hunting and gathering for their subsistence. Linguistically, they speak Hadzane, a click language that has phonetic similarities to other Khoisan click languages but is not mutually intelligible with any. Despite smoking Marijuana being illegal in Tanzania, Hadzabe does smoke without any problem.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater Tour
After an early breakfast at the lodge, you will drive to Ngorongoro Crater which is over six hundred meters deep.
